Hi and Welcome to Montclair parents:

I hope that all your children had a great first week of school! The school is bustling with more energy than ever and the PTA is looking forward to a great year. Sorry for this long missive - I just wanted to touch base and give you a head’s up re what’s happening with PTA.

Our first meeting is Tuesday, September 9, from 6 to 7.  Spanish translation and childcare will be provided. We’ll present the annual budget for membership approval, introduce the boardmembers and chairs, and explain what Montclair PTA does and how you can be involved in whatever way interests you.

Want to Mingle? Our big fall fundraiser, the Mingle for Montclair, is coming up in November and we could really use some help now planning it. If willing, please contact Judy Todd at judith_todd@comcast.net.

Fancy Luncheons … The school has introduced a new scheme of "Fancy First Friday Luncheons," whereby each first Friday of the month the school Dining Room is transformed with tablecloths and centerpieces and provides a fun opportunity for kids to practice best manners. The food stays the same (whether sack lunch or cafeteria-provided), but it’s all about the ambience. If you could help with any of these (getting out the tablecloths, just joining in), please contact Christy Jordan at christy.jordan@comcast.net.
