Dear Montclair Community and Prospective Families,
I am honored to serve as the school leader of Montclair School of Academics and Enrichment for the 2023-2024 school year. Montclair is located in the heart of the Montclair neighborhood in Denver. Composed of one the most diverse populations in Denver, our school is proud to serve students from all over the world and just around the corner. We are rated as a GREEN school according to Colorado’s School Performance Framework.
At our neighborhood school, we ground our decisions in practices in equity, diversity and inclusion in order to support the growth of each and every student. Our talented team of teachers create lessons grounded in Common Core Standards and tailor instruction to tap into student interests, needs and identities. We provide comprehensive special education, English language acquisition and Gifted and Talented programs that support students with unique learning needs to grow and thrive academically and personally. We implement a school-wide social-emotional learning curriculum (https://changingperspectivesnow.org/) that focuses on age-appropriate activities and discussions to deepen students’ understanding of themselves and others.
