Alanna Mulcahey, known as Ms. M by her students, is thrilled to begin her sixth year teaching at Montclair. A Madison, Wisconsin native, she earned her degree in elementary education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Ms. M is known for bringing her passions—including the Wisconsin Badgers and Taylor Swift—into the classroom, and works to create a learning environment centered on kindness, inclusion, and fun.
As an educator, Ms. M believes in holding all students to high expectations while empowering them to discover their full potential. She finds great joy in watching her students grow and thrive both academically and socially. Outside the classroom, Ms. M enjoys traveling, staying active, listening to podcasts, and attending concerts.
Alanna Mulcahey, conocida por sus estudiantes como Ms. M, está encantada de comenzar su sexto año enseñando en Montclair. Originaria de Madison, Wisconsin, obtuvo su título en Educación Primaria de la Universidad de Wisconsin–Madison. Ms. M es conocida por incorporar al aula algunas de sus grandes pasiones —incluidos los Wisconsin Badgers y Taylor Swift— y se esfuerza por crear un ambiente de aprendizaje centrado en la amabilidad, la inclusión y la diversión.

Fuera del aula, Ms. M disfruta viajar, mantenerse activa, escuchar podcasts y asistir a conciertos.
