Bertha Angelica Maines is originally from Mexico and has lived in the United States since 1999. She is excited to be teaching ELA-S ECE this school year and brings more than 30 years of experience in education, having begun her career in 1992.
Teaching is a true source of happiness for Bertha. She is passionate about creating a classroom where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to learn. She believes that building strong, caring relationships is an essential part of helping young children grow and thrive.
Outside of school, Bertha enjoys sharing meals with family and friends, learning about yoga, exploring world cultures and mythologies, and spending time with her Australian Shepherd, Toby, who continues to teach her lessons about unconditional love.
Bertha Angelica Maines es originaria de México y vive en Estados Unidos desde 1999. Está muy emocionada de enseñar ELA-S ECE este ciclo escolar y cuenta con más de 30 años de experiencia en el campo de la educación, donde comenzó su trayectoria en 1992.
La enseñanza es una verdadera fuente de felicidad para Bertha. Le apasiona crear un salón de clases donde cada niño se sienta seguro, valorado y entusiasmado por aprender. Considera que establecer relaciones sólidas y afectuosas es una parte esencial para apoyar el crecimiento y desarrollo de los niños.
Fuera de la escuela, Bertha disfruta compartir comidas con familiares y amigos, aprender sobre yoga, explorar las culturas y mitologías del mundo, y pasar tiempo con su pastor australiano, Toby, quien continúa enseñándole lecciones sobre el amor incondicional.
