Ms. Schumacher is excited, honored, and blessed to begin her first year at Montclair School of Academics and Enrichment as a new teacher in 1st grade. With over five years of experience in public education in various teaching and support roles after earning a Master’s Degree in Elementary Teaching in 2012, she is passionate about creating a joyful and safe learning environment where every student can thrive. Originally from the New York City area, she arrived in Colorado to broaden her horizons and is so grateful she did! She started her journey here as a full-time nanny for two babies who are still family and sources of pride. She is eager to meet her students and their families to begin the journey of building a solid foundation for their success, both emotionally and academically. Outside of school, she enjoys traveling, hiking, cooking, playing piano, puzzles, spending time with family and friends, and attending live music and cultural events.
La Sra. Schumacher está emocionada, honrada y agradecida de comenzar su primer año en Montclair School of Academics and Enrichment como nueva maestra de primer grado. Cuenta con más de cinco años de experiencia en la educación pública, donde ha desempeñado diversos roles de enseñanza y apoyo desde que obtuvo su maestría en Enseñanza Primaria en 2012. Le apasiona crear un ambiente de aprendizaje alegre y seguro en el que cada estudiante pueda desarrollarse plenamente.
Originaria del área de la ciudad de Nueva York, llegó a Colorado con el deseo de ampliar sus horizontes y está muy agradecida de haberlo hecho. Comenzó su trayectoria en Colorado trabajando como niñera de tiempo completo para dos bebés que, hasta el día de hoy, siguen siendo parte de su familia y una gran fuente de orgullo.
Está muy entusiasmada por conocer a sus estudiantes y a sus familias, y por comenzar juntos el proceso de construir una base sólida para su éxito tanto emocional como académico.
