Students posing in class wearing masks

It’s Friday and our first snow of the year; it is a great day! With cold weather, we always consult the weather guidelines to see if we need to hold recess inside. Today, we were able to have outdoor recess. Make sure to send your child with clothing that fits the weather. If you need support, please reach out, we’d be happy to help.

Parking Reminders

We would like to remind families that Richthofen and Newport next to the school in the mornings before school and after school are “kiss and go.” Cars should not be parked. We also notice that families will stay in cars after drop-off. Once you see that your student is with a Montclair staff member, please be on your way to allow traffic to keep flowing. Thanks so much for doing your part to keep our mornings and afternoons safe!

Vaccine Clinic

Montclair will be holding a vaccination clinic on January 6, 2022, during school hours. Check out the flier to make an appointment: https://bit.ly/MontclairVaccine. Parents and guardians can sign students up and complete the release and we will take care of the rest. Your child will receive the Pfizer vaccine to protect against Covid. Children who are vaccinated will no longer be required to quarantine due to contact with someone who has tested positive. This means more time learning! Reach out to our health office with questions, 720-424-5425.

Imagination Library of Colorado

Dolly Parton has chosen Colorado as the next location for the Imagination Library. This service provides free books each month to children age 5 and under. https://www.imaginationlibrarycolorado.org/

We know that reading begins at birth, that the benefits of a home library go far beyond the books, and that parents and guardians are a child’s first and best teacher. By providing books every month at no cost to families, the Imagination Library increases childhood literacy rates, fosters a love of books, and promotes a culture of reading among all families in Colorado.
