Claudia Ballard es la maestra de lectura en español para los estudiantes de segundo y tercer grado. Cuenta con más de 20 años de experiencia enseñando en programas bilingües desde Kínder hasta 5to grado, y disfruta profundamente trabajar con los niños de primaria, quienes cada día llegan con ideas nuevas, ocurrencias divertidas y un entusiasmo que contagia.
Es originaria de Monterrey, México, y actualmente vive en Colorado con su esposo Brian, sus hijos Antonio y Emma y su perro Lucas. Claudia valora compartir su cultura y su historia con los estudiantes, así como aprender de las experiencias y tradiciones de cada familia.
Claudia se dedica a apoyar a los niños tanto en su aprendizaje académico como en su desarrollo social. Le encanta acompañarlos en sus descubrimientos y compartir sus ocurrencias mientras aprenden y se divierten juntos.
Claudia Ballard is the Spanish reading teacher for second and third grade students. She has more than 20 years of experience teaching in bilingual programs from Kindergarten through fifth grade, and she deeply enjoys working with elementary-aged children, who bring new ideas, funny moments, and contagious enthusiasm to the classroom every day.
Originally from Monterrey, Mexico, Claudia now lives in Colorado with her husband Brian, their children Antonio and Emma, and their dog Lucas. She values sharing her culture and personal story with her students, as well as learning from the experiences and traditions of each family.
Claudia is dedicated to supporting children in both their academic learning and social development. She loves guiding them through new discoveries and sharing their joyful moments as they learn and grow together.
