Jen Hutnick brings a passion for teaching reading to Montclair. This is her second year teaching at Montclair and her tenth year teaching reading intervention. She was born in Indiana and got ther BA in Creative Writing at the University of Arizona. She graduated with a master’s degree in Education from MSU Denver, where her husband works as a mathematics professor. She began her career in education in 2007 as an English Language Development teacher in Tucson, Arizona. Jen strives to spark the love of reading in all of her students and works to promote literacy school-wide. Her interests include traveling, reading, crafting, and seeing live music.
Jen Hutnick aporta a Montclair una gran pasión por la enseñanza de la lectura. Este es su segundo año enseñando en Montclair y su décimo año trabajando en intervención de lectura.
Jen nació en Indiana y obtuvo su licenciatura en Escritura Creativa de la Universidad de Arizona. Comenzó su carrera en educación en 2007 como maestra de Desarrollo del Idioma Inglés en Tucson, Arizona.
Jen se esfuerza por despertar el amor por la lectura en todos sus estudiantes y trabaja para promover la alfabetización en toda la escuela. Entre sus intereses se encuentran viajar, leer, hacer manualidades y asistir a conciertos y presentaciones de música en vivo.
