Montclair Community Updates
Posted December 10, 2023
Hello Montclair Families,
REMINDER: Montclair will host our annual Winterfest concert this Thursday, December 14th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This year’s theme is Mingle & Jingle! Students should arrive by 4:45 PM. Families will bring their students to classroom staging areas before finding seats in the Auditorium. There will be some light snacks and refreshments after the concert. Please encourage students to dress up for the concert in something fancy or important to them. Children who do not attend Montclair will need to stay with their guardians the whole time.
December 11th-15th will be Student Council Led Spirit Week at Montclair. Please view the flier to see how your student(s) can participate!
A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered and came out to our Craft Day this past Saturday! It was so much fun to see our community come together and have such a great time! Thank you PEAK for organizing this event! If you are interested in learning more about PEAK and/or getting involved click here.
Updates and Reminders:
- School Attendance is Vital to your Student(s) Success!
- Did you know? If your child seems anxious about going to school, it is important to talk to teachers, school counselors and other parents for advice on how to make your child feel comfortable and excited about learning. Try it out and let us know how we can support!
- Montclair’s School Attendance Goal for the 23-24 School Year: 91.4% average daily attendance (3% increase from 22-23 School Year)

The Fax offers many resources for families including ethnic food pantry, diapers, LEAP & SNAP Benefits support, financial literacy courses and so much more (see this flier for more details)! Here is a flier for their upcoming December Food Drive on 12/15/23.
